A Yin Yoga intensive for the tissues supporting the spine

Yin yoga nourishes body and mind through breath, mindfulness, and long-held asanas that support our connective tissues. Yin yoga shapes align with the meridians, energetic lines, used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The spine plays a pivotal role in all movements of the body and supports our physical well-being. In TCM and Yoga, the energetic properties of the spine and surrounding tissues interlink with the harmonious function of our nervous system. If we have felt overwhelmed or stuck in place, our bodies will let us know.

This intensive will focus on the connective tissues supporting the spine and our nervous systems. We harness the six movements of the spine to replenish our back (and front) areas of the body. There will be an opportunity to delve into deeper held poses and options to listen inward and rest in shapes that bring stability and comfort. To further harmonize our nervous systems, the practice ends with a short yoga nidrā session that ebbs into a serene savasana. 

Join us for an immersive yin yoga workshop led by Megan Cauley, a compassionate teacher with over 10 years’ experience. All experience levels are welcome, so whether you are new to yin yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you will feel supported.

Cosmic Rest

After a particularly thorny eclipse season and Mercury retrograde, it is time to renew and regenerate. Cosmic Rest is an opportunity for deep rest and a cosmic reset. The evening of the 27th has astrological weather to support deep healing.

We begin with a slow, grounding yin yoga practice that flows into a serene, deeply conscious yoga nidra practice.

Yoga nidra, or “yogic sleep,” blends elements of guided meditation and body scan techniques deeply rooted in yogic wisdom. Our astrological focus helps us set meaningful intentions that reconnect us to our essential being through profound relaxation.

This practice is open to all. Bring a journal if you wish.

Megan began teaching yin yoga over a decade ago. She loves offering this accessible practice as a gateway to deeper awareness. She regularly shares the practice of yoga nidra in her group classes, private classes, and through her work within the Traumatic Brain Injury community. As a professional astrologer, she inspires people to live compassionately and authentically.

Intro to Astrology begins online this May! ⭐️
This course has been long in the making, and I am so excited to offer it!

A 5-week course that gives you a foundational understanding of astrology and how it applies to your chart. We will cover zodiac signs, planets, houses, aspects, the symbolic language of astrology, and more. Recordings will be available. To integrate your knowledge course bundles with discounted personal astrology readings are available! For 5 weeks total I am offering this at a super low introductory price of $100 for all 5 classes.

Classes are held on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 pm EDT via Zoom, beginning on the New Moon in Taurus on May 7th.
