New Moon 18º Cancer 01’

The slightest provocation and a sand crab burrows deep. This New Moon is snuggled up in the homiest of signs, Cancer, the crab. There is interesting energy with this New Moon in the emotional sign of Cancer, AND there is the undercurrent of Mars, Venus opposite Saturn square Uranus still ongoing. This brings again that story of taking action from delays or inertia. With Venus, it is impacting our relationships and our wallets. The elements of deep emotional healing are here too with Chiron’s supportive energies. Which door we open is up to us – or maybe all 3?
Use any surface tension as depth perception.
We can ask ourselves how we really feel and where is that feeling coming from? Is it an old story that we use to keep ourselves shielded from new experiences or connections? Is it even an actual feeling or just a passing mood or Moon?
Any delays of what we thought would be is an invitation to seek our deepest emotional self, go deeper this time. Go deep and go home. Saturn is in a tense aspect to Mercury as Neptune starts its trine to the Sun and briefly the Moon. It brings a sense of false hope mixed with frustration. What we thought is not, or maybe it is? Were we here before? Wait.. is that a glitch in the matrix or are we just in a collective dream?
We could stay in our shells and begin the deep work to be with our healing. See it from all sides. There is a blessing in the sky to reach the sweetest healing spot if we meet it with bravery. Appreciate how far we have* come and know we are so much more than our pasts. Doing the deep shadow work is easiest once we are buried in and away from tall tales, self-defeating stories, and comparisons. We do this tough emotional work to rejoin our families, chosen families, friends, and loves.
Once we’ve spent adequate time with our own hearts, then and only then, we can rejoin and serve the greater good, by sharing our best.
