Full Moon 1º Aquarius 26’
July 23, 2021, 10:36 pm EDT
This full moon lights the way to our unique contribution to this world. Perhaps the clarity lies in the questions themselves, as we will have more clarity on the second Aquarius Full Moon in the next lunar cycle. Fragmented light tempts us with colors never before seen.
Clarity is a prism.
Questions to consider:
How many things are we doing in our lives based on the suggestion of others?
Where in our lives have we allowed the status quo to dim our souls’ purpose?
—
With the larger-than-life astrology of 2020, we gained an intimate knowledge of how Pluto, the Lord of the Underworld, seeks to mine our transformation. This Full Moon, conjunct Pluto is the headlamp to our future selves. Aquarius (Moon) has a detached progressive outlook on that future, while Leo (Sun) holds the star of our ego at center stage.
There is always discovery. Beyond Pluto is the dwarf planet of Sedna – named for the Inuit goddess of the sea. Before the sea there was the rage of Eris, an earlier found dwarf planet, and the Goddess of Discord, who has been largely squaring Pluto creating undeniable friction around the issues of patriarchy and its inevitable demise. The underworld, discord, and the sea… sounds like it could be a Drone album from the early ’00s?
My intuition has me fixed and feeling this undertow of Sedna, sitting at the powerful degree of 29 in the Earth sign of Taurus, where she waits until 2023. Sedna was an Inuit goddess, who by some accounts through a series of events found herself clinging to the side of a canoe until her fingertips were chopped off. Deep within her seemingly drowning peril , she was born into the powerful goddess she was born to be.
Sedna churns the seas fiercely. We can look at recent examples of the floods in China, the ocean on fire, and the overall rising sea levels. Uranus joins her in Taurus – prompting us to be “woke” to the power of water or pay the ultimate consequence. To restore harmony in our relationship with our natural world in accordance with our soul’s highest wish. It’s like an undersea volcano, ready to erupt.
Sedna is in an out-of-element trine with this Full Moon. The tides of our lives will no doubt be pulled to the depths of our consciousness. We can either bow to the grace of Gaia or be submerged by our own ignorance.
Where can we honor our hidden contributions?
What is bubbling up below our own ocean floor?
Mine that inner gold and let it shine to the Leo Sun.
We were born for a reason, to be here now.
