This Full Moon is mysterious. Not in the way of goblins hiding in the shadows; it’s as if we are hearing blurbs and beeps from outer space, and we feel desperate to understand. We have no idea who is sending it or how to crack the code. This is the Full Moon in Aquarius at the last degree… a hair* away from the Pisces Virgo axis. It is the second Full Moon in Aquarius this season, both of those things add some power.
With Mercury and Mars huddled up in Virgo, our need to have precision is heightened along with our internal and external judgment. Jupiter sits as the professor in Aquarius next to this lunation, reminding us the true mark of wisdom is admitting we don’t have all the answers. Only a fool thinks they know it all. The wisest teachers and leaders grow from their ability to admit there is always more to learn and discover. Understanding that the last sentence is as much for you as “the others” is crucial for our spiritual evolution.
Aquarius Moons can be detached, a helpful trait when the world seems so cold and we are scrambling to make decisions in the perceived dark. Logical steps are one piece of building bridges to the future.
The magic of this moon may sit in the Aquarian nature of community. We all* have some deep trauma work and conditioning to let go. Those friendly voices we hear in the ethers or space only become clear once that work is done. Weeding out extractive and colonial conditioning that sit as the roots of our trauma is a key step in our evolution.
Luckily a smooth trine from Venus and Chiron is present to lend a healing hand. Admitting we don’t have all the answers opens doors and communications to a new world that wasn’t even on our radar. Love is the spaceship we need to travel in now. Not the thirsty social media kind of love – the love of all beings, the love of all our neighbors – not just the ones who think like us. It is a mighty task made only for the last degree and second Full Moon in Aquarius while Uranus stations retrograde trining Mars. The power to make it happen for the good of all is there. Take the good road forward with the wisdom of our ancestors…and perhaps some alien knowledge too.
