Gentle Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Late January is the perfect opportunity to recharge and renew as we cross the threshold of a new year and approach the inspiring Aquarius New Moon. Restful practices such as yin yoga and yoga nidra assist us in welcoming the year ahead and connecting with ourselves authentically.
Our workshop begins with a gentle yin yoga practice to prepare your body for an extended yoga nidra practice. Yoga nidra is a profound yoga practice, sometimes referred to as “sleep yoga” or “dream yoga.”
You will be guided through meditative practices into the liminal spaces between wakefulness and sleep, known as the hypnagogic state. Yoga nidra is especially beneficial for anyone seeking healing from trauma, insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, or depression, as well as those wishing to establish a deeper connection with their truest self.
After the practice, enjoy light (allergen-friendly) tea and snacks as you reflect on your experience. You are welcome to bring a journal to note insights from your practice
