Move & Meditate will not be happening this week, no Tuesday class. Look for a new class time and day later this month. Reach out if you would like to schedule a private yoga session or group class in the meantime.
Have you noticed any green sprigs poking out of the snowy ground yet? Before the storm, I glanced some hardy daffodils by a friend’s yard. Usually snowdrops are the first flower to appear, perhaps you’ve seen their white bell shaped blooms chiming in spring?
I am not thinking about spring in a way to avoid the present. We are half way there. When we strengthen our awareness within, we can pick up on subtlety around us. Beauty shines forth from the dirt on the side of the road. We notice the red belly of a woodpecker or the eagle flying past a bedroom window. It’s all right there in front of us, hidden in plain sight.
In truth, it can be really hard to maintain that level of presence right now! That’s why we always say it’s a practice.
Practice on your own, with me, and with other teachers. Mindful Walks. Meditate. Most of all slow down and notice what is right there and then stay there and notice some more. From that place, we have the opportunity to recognize the loving awareness that is sown in all living things.
Wednesdays Yin – we’ll start to melt our frost and connect into our heart space. Shoulders, spine, hips… bring all the cozy extras!
We have a momentous New Moon in Aquarius this week. I’ll post an astrology update on Instagram and send you all a lil note about it later this week.

An all levels vinyasa inspired practice followed by a short meditation and savasana. Designed to help build strength, resiliency, balance, and flexibility of body and mind.

Wednesday 6pm – 7:15pm Yin Yoga
Longer held postures unwind and delve into connective tissues. We work with what connects us physically and what connects internally – within and without.
